The WNBA All-Star Weekend festivities are now underway in Phoenix, Arizona.

While there are no competitions taking place today, the WNBA All-Star Game Orange Carpet (which is the equivalent to the red carpet in other events) included nearly other WNBA All-Star Game participant showing off their outfits before the weekend really kicks into gear tomorrow.

Yet, one of the WNBA's biggest celebrities and All-Stars was nowhere to be found: Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese.

Despite Caitlin Clark offering her words of praise at the event, Reese preferred to spend her Thursday night at an NBA Summer League game in Las Vegas.

And when fans began calling Reese out for her absence, she responded with a very clear message about why she isn't in Phoenix.

"angel just pissed me off. your first all star event as a rookie and you still in vegas at a fucking summer league game?????? good f****** night man," one fan wrote Thursday night.

"it’s ok babe," Reese responded on X .

"i’m minding the business that PAYS me."

Clearly Reese has more pressing financial concerns in Las Vegas at the moment.

Although she'll need to appear in Phoenix by Saturday, lest she miss her first WNBA All-Star Game.
