    $7.1M Phoenix home bought by an energy solutions CEO

    Detroit Tigers outfielder and first baseman Mark Canha and his wife, Marcia, paid $6 million for a Phoenix house near Camelback Mountain. An energy solutions firm CEO and the co-founder of Stockdale Capital Partners were also among the buyers and sellers of the priciest metro Phoenix homes to sell during the first week of July.

    Richard and Alisha McBee bought a 6,480-square-foot Phoenix home at the base of Camelback Mountain. Richard is CEO of CLEAResult, a provider of emission-reducing energy solutions. The house comes with five bedrooms, 5 ½ bathrooms, a fountain, a circular driveway, a large marble kitchen island and a pool. Lewis and Margaret Detz sold it. Robert Joffe and Jon Condo of Launch Powered By Compass handled the sale.

    $6,150,000

    William Schutz purchased a 5,395-square-foot Paradise Valley house with four bedrooms and five bathrooms. The house also has walls of glass, European oak floors, a waterfall kitchen island, a butler’s pantry with a wine refrigerator, an executive office and two family rooms. James and Sharon Weatherly were the sellers.

    MLB outfielder and first baseman Mark Canha and wife Marcia bought a 6,982-square-foot Phoenix house near Camelback Mountain. He plays for the Detroit Tigers and was previously with the Oakland Athletics, New York Mets and Milwaukee Brewers. The house with five bedrooms and six bathrooms comes with a butler’s pantry, two closets in the primary suite, wide plank wood flooring, multiple fireplaces, a huge yard, a lap pool and a pool house. Richard and Alisha McBee sold it.

    $5,750,000

    Shawn Yari, co-founder of Stockdale Capital Partners, paid cash for a 5,739-square-foot north Scottsdale house with five bedrooms and 5 ½ bathrooms. The urban farmhouse-style home also has pocket doors, oak plank floors, a Taj Mahal quartzite waterfall kitchen island, a steam oven and a generator. Outside, there’s a fire pit and a fountain. Bridget and Kenneth Wright sold it.

    $5,300,000

    Adam Jaber purchased a new 6,566-square-foot central Scottsdale house with six bedrooms and 6 ½ bathrooms. The home has 15 parking spaces. Nicole and Vijaya Santos were the sellers. They are real estate investors.
