Phoenix Suns' Four-Word Nickname For Devin Booker-Suni Lee Duo Triggers Online Buzz

The Phoenix Suns’ social media team probably deserves a gold medal, too.

On Monday, the Suns shared a photo on X (formerly Twitter) that shows Team USA shooting guard Devin Booker and star gymnast Suni Lee together in Paris.

The image was also captioned with a witty nickname for the two athletes: Suni & the Sun.

Booker must have been in countless photos with fans and celebrities since he started his NBA career, but this one with Lee appears to stand out. For one, Lee has become a household name together with Simone Biles amid their successful showing in Paris. Lee has won gold in the team event and a pair of bronze medals (all-around and uneven bars).

As for Booker, he is looking to win his second gold medal in the Olympics, as Team USA looks to top the field in Paris. Booker, who won gold in the 2020 Tokyo Games, will look to help the United States reach the semifinals when they take on Brazil this Tuesday in the quarterfinal round.

Through three games in the tournament, Booker has averaged 10.3 points, 4.3 assists, and 2.3 rebounds.
