Kimley-Horn opens new location at Union office development in Mesa
Full-service commercial real estate firm Lincoln Property Company (Lincoln) has signed Kimley-Horn, one of the nation’s premier planning and design consultants, to a 34,771-square-foot, long-term lease at Union Building One. Building One is the first building completed within the 1.35 million-square-foot, Class A Union office project being developed by Lincoln and Harvard Investments in the Arizona Riverview District in Mesa, Arizona.

2 women killed after car hits metal pole, goes up in flames in Phoenix
PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Two women are dead after a high-speed crash caused a vehicle to erupt in flames early Friday morning. According to Phoenix police, the collision happened near 35th and Sweetwater avenues around 6 a.m. When police arrived, they found a car on fire after it crashed into a large pole. A woman was found outside the vehicle and rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, where she later died.
Alabama man pleads guilty to making online threats to election workers in Arizona
PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man in Alabama has pleaded guilty to sending threatening messages to Maricopa County Elections workers in Phoenix. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, during the time from the Arizona primary elections on Aug. 2, 2022, to Aug. 4, 2022, 60-year-old Brian Ogstad of Cullman, Ala., sent multiple threatening direct messages to an Instagram account maintained by Maricopa County Elections.

The streets of South Phoenix became the unlikely setting for a tragic incident in the early hours of July 24, where a 30-year-old woman met her untimely demise. Identified as Emma Damian, the woman was found lifeless in her vehicle, which had collided with a cement irrigation container near 19th Avenue and Baseline Road. The Phoenix Police Department, responding to what initially seemed like a routine crash at about 12:30 am, soon found themselves piecing together the events that led to Damian’s death, according to FOX 10 Phoenix.
