Retail chain Big Lots to close 13 locations across Arizona
PHOENIX – Big Lots will be closing over a dozen of its Arizona stores, a product of the company’s plans to shut down multiple locations across the country. Thirteen locations across the Grand Canyon State are planned to close sometime this year. Closing stores will have banners on their personal webpages indicating their closure and promoting a 20% off discount with limited exceptions.
Phoenix pedestrian dead after hit by car, driver left on foot
PHOENIX — A man was fatally struck by a car Thursday night and Phoenix police are trying to identify the driver who hit him. The pedestrian was crossing Camelback Road near 34th Avenue at about 10:30 p.m. when he was hit by a car driving west on Camelback, according to Phoenix police. The injured man was taken to the hospital and later died.

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A crash involving multiple vehicles has sent three people to the hospital on Friday morning in west Phoenix. Phoenix police say four vehicles crashed near 51st Avenue and Campbell Road, north of Indian School Road. Three people were rushed to the hospital, including one person with life-threatening injuries.
