Investigators seek information in 2022 double homicide

Investigators are still seeking information on a 2022 shooting that killed two 21-year-old men in south Phoenix.

Family and friends have increased the reward for information by adding an additional $10,000 dollars to the Silent Witness reward. It is now up to $12,000.

Robert Puentes and Xavier Martinez were both shot and killed on Aug. 28, 2022, at about 2 a.m. while they were at a large party in the area of 2700 E. South Mountain Ave. Several subjects were in the backyard of the house including the victims. Shots were fired and the victims were struck and died from their injuries.

Robert's sister, Xena, wanted to share that last Thursday, Aug. 22 would have been Robert’s birthday.
