Failure to yield ruled as cause of crash, killing elderly Joplin woman
JOPLIN, Mo. — An elderly Joplin woman succumbed to injuries she sustained in a vehicle crash in downtown Joplin Thursday afternoon. Joplin Police received a 9-1-1 call about a crash at 2nd and Jackson yesterday around 2:15. That’s where they say a car, driven by Leah Sulier, 72, of Joplin, was struck by an SUV in the intersection.
