A flood crest is moving down the Missouri River, and it is expected to hit mid-Missouri on Friday morning. The crest, or the peak of floodwaters before they recede, is predicted to reach Boonville on Friday, according to a flood warning issued by the National Weather Service. The river should fall back below flood stage by Tuesday.
