    Suspects in car dealership break-in head to circuit court

    PINCKNEY — Suspects in a car dealership break-in have been bound over to 44th Circuit Court.

    Desean Lamar Stanley, 19, from Detroit, was bound over July 8 on three charges of breaking and entering (a felony), two charges of motor vehicle unlawful driving away (a felony), larceny (a felony), four counts of fleeing and eluding police in a vehicle fourth degree (a felony), reckless driving (a misdemeanor) and operating a vehicle with a suspended/revoked/denied license (a misdemeanor).

    Armarion Antreillo-Doug Gaskin, 22, from Detroit, was also bound over July 8 and is charged with one felony count of assaulting/resisting/obstructing an officer.

    Gaskin and Stanley are two of six suspects in a robbery March 10 at the Pinckney Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Dealership. According to Pinckney Police Chief Jeff Garrison, the group stole four vehicles and "ransacked" the inside of the dealership looking for keys.

    One car was stopped on Kirkland Court by Pinckney Police. When an officer activated patrol lights, three other cars fled at a high rate of speed.

    Joe O’Connell, service director at the dealership, said two Dodge Challengers and two Dodge Chargers were stolen. One of the Chargers was used to ram the back gate.

    Three of the four stolen cars were recovered.

    Stanley and Gaskin are not currently scheduled for any hearings. Stanley’s bond was set at $100,000. Gaskin’s bond was set at $25,000 and posted on July 9.
