Suspect slams into police squad car after eluding traffic stop
NASHVILLE, IL (KBSI) – A Ford Explorer was pulled over for high rates of speed on St. Rt. 127 on July 5 at around 10:30 p.m. The car continued Southbound reaching speeds up to 100 mph while entering Pinckneyville, IL. When entering the town the driver struck police officer’s stop sticks successfully deflating one of the tires. The driver swerved right striking a deputy’s squad car sending both vehicles off the roadway.
