    5 Arkansas universities named among best in America

    FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Six universities in Arkansas are among the best in America, according to an analysis by Money.

    745 universities from across the country were included in the list and it was created by looking at financial aid, cost of attendance and graduation rates along with other factors.

    These were the five Arkansas schools included in the list:

    • University of Arkansas
    • John Brown University
    • Harding University
    • Hendrix College
    • University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff

    John Brown University received the highest rating out of the five schools with four out of five stars. The school was ranked in 2023 as one of the best colleges in the country by the Wall Street Journal.

    Harding University, which was also ranked in WSJ’s list, had the lowest acceptance rate among the five Arkansas schools at 45% but also had the highest graduation rate at 70%.

    Out of the five schools, UAPB had the lowest price tag with an estimated full price of $23,300 and the highest was Hendrix College, which was estimated at $54,800.
