2024 Broncos training camp: Day 7 news and notes
Day 7 of Denver Broncos camp is in the books and it was the third straight padded practice for the team. We are a week into things so standout players are starting to show themselves and thankfully, the Broncos first-round rookie quarterback is one of them. He had his best day of practice and showed growth from the previous two padded practices. Unfortunately, the Broncos saw reserve offensive lineman Quinn Bailey go down with a major ankle injury that will likely sideline him for the season. We also saw a free agent addition really standout today in the passing game.

Russell Wilson's Steelers training camp woes prove Broncos are better off with Bo Nix
A lot can change between now and the start of the season, but it is safe to say the Denver Broncos are pretty happy with their decision to move on from last year's starter in Russell Wilson in favor of taking Bo Nix No. 12 overall out of Oregon in last spring's NFL Draft. All signs point to Nix eventually beating out Jarrett Stidham for the starting job in Denver, possibly as soon as training camp ends.

Jefferson County libraries install EV charging stations
Two libraries in Jefferson County now have electric vehicle (EV) charging stations with three free hours of charging. Charging stations are currently available at Belmar Library, 555 S. Allison Parkway in Lakewood, and Evergreen Library, 5000 County Highway 73 in Evergreen and will be available from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, according to a news release from Jefferson County Public Library (JCPL).
