It's another hot, dry and smoky day for the Denver metro area. A First Alert Weather Day continues because of the unhealthy air quality due to both local and out-of-state wildfire smoke. The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and the Regional Air Quality Council issued an Action Day due to the combination of wildfire smoke and ozone. Northern Colorado evacuees familiar with natural disasters as wildfires burn
A Loveland hotel a few miles east of the Alexander Mountain fire evacuation zone was fully booked Wednesday night. Evacuees moved pets, suitcases, blankets, and other belongings inside from the packed parking lot. A table of packaged food and essentials was laid out for them in the hotel lobby. RLJ Lodging Trust acquires Denver’s Hotel Teatro for $35.5M
RLJ Lodging Trust has acquired the fee-simple interest in the 110-room Hotel Teatro in Denver for a purchase price of $35.5 million. The hotel was redeveloped into an independent boutique lifestyle hotel following the conversion of the historic Denver Tramway Company office building, built circa 1911. The hotel is expected to generate over a 10% stabilized yield.
