Newmark Strengthens U.S. Capital Markets Presence in the Rocky Mountain Region with Strategic Hire Tim Richey. Newmark has hired Tim Richey as executive vice chairman, Capital Markets, to focus on office and multifamily sales throughout Colorado and the surrounding region. Richey, one of the most respected and prolific institutional office capital markets brokers in the Rocky Mountain Region, has closed over $20 billion in transaction value during his career, which includes advising on 70% of high-rise office sales across the Denver skyline. Jack Richey, an industry protégé of, and soon-to-be collaborator with, Tim, is joining Newmark as an associate director to focus on multifamily, to expand and elevate the region’s practice.

Starting in 1918, Douglas County held its first Wild West Show. The event held women bronc riders, bull riders, and trick riders. As time moved on and rodeo events became established, the show began to transform into a rodeo. Now, over 100 years later Douglas County is not only known for its rodeo, but the fair and livestock shows.

Buehler Companies to change ownership
After 30 years as CEO and owner of Buehler Companies, Stuart Smith is selling majority ownership of the company to Scott Luedke, the current president and general Manger, and David Pryor, the current CFO. The moving and logistics company is headquartered in Denver with branches in Albuquerque, Fort Worth and Colorado Springs.
