Amid recovery efforts, Montgomery County Precinct 2 Commissioner Charlie Riley sat down with Community Impact to discuss the hurricane’s impact and recovery efforts. The Woodlands approves $2 million for post-Beryl debris clean-up
The funds will go toward removing debris from parks, open space reserves and other areas maintained by the Township. The Woodlands Township board of directors approved $2 million to aid in debris removal after Hurricane Beryl and took measures to increase leaders' engagement in future storms during their July 18 meeting.
Montgomery County Food Bank hosting 12th Annual Sporting Clays Tournament
Montgomery County Food Bank is aiming high for its 12th annual Shootout Hunger sporting clays tournament on Friday, September 13, 2024 at Blackwood Sporting Co. located at 11400 FM 2854 Rd, Conroe, TX 77304. Shootout Hunger, presented by Cowboy Kia, raises awareness and funds to help provide food for children, families and seniors facing hunger in Montgomery County. Every dollar raised helps Montgomery County Food Bank provide up to four meals for those in need.
