ECU placed seventh in preseason AAC football poll
East Carolina's football team has been picked to finish seventh in the 2024 American Athletic Conference preseason media poll, the league announced Tuesday at its annual media days event inside Loews Arlington in Arlington, Texas. The Memphis Tigers are the preseason favorites, with 23 first-place votes of the 30 media ballots. UTSA is ranked second with four first-place tallies. Tulane, picked third, had two first-place votes. Army, picked fifth, had the other first-place vote. South Florida was slotted fourth.
