350 cyclists to tour Southwest Colorado starting August 19th
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) - The Colorado Department of Transportation and the Colorado State Patrol are giving motorists a heads-up about a five-day bicycle event. Beginning on Monday, Aug. 19th, in Durango approximately 350 bicyclists will ride along several highways and county roads between Durango, Silverton, Pagosa Springs, and Wolf Creek Pass. The event will take place over five days, August 19th- August 23rd, and will begin at 7:30 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. each day.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - We’re headed into another on-and-off stormy stretch of days. Some showers and thunderstorms have been forming over the Uncompahgre Plateau Sunday afternoon and evening. Those will blow northward this evening, so at least some of us in the Grand Valley are at risk for passing showers and thunderstorms. We won’t all get rain, but the rain will be around.
