Pittsburg City Commission reviews funding for Blue Spoon Project

PITTSBURG, Kan. (KOAM) - The City of Pittsburg Commission will meet today at 5:30 p.m. to consider a recommendation from the Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC) regarding Blue Spoon Properties, LLC.

The proposed plan includes allocating up to $80,000, or 10% of the total project value, to support the renovation and expansion of the property at 415 East 4th Street. Additionally, the committee recommends providing $10,000 for a cost-share effort to add parking along Grand Street.

The Commission will decide whether to approve the funding and, if approved, authorize the Mayor to sign the necessary documents on behalf of the City.
