Justin Fields returning kicks in 'Madden 25' trailer

Speaking on Cam Heyward’s No Just Football podcast , Steelers running back Jaylen Warren revealed that special teams coach Danny Smith said he’s considered using quarterback Justin Fields as a kick returner.

“Our special teams coordinator was talking about Justin Fields being back there,” said Warren. “We looked at him like, ‘Justin Fields is going to be back there?!”

Well, we don’t know if it will happen in real life, but Madden just release its trailer for Madden 25 and it begins with Fields fielding a kick return.

The game is in Cleveland as the Browns kick off to Fields, who takes the ball and begins to run before lateralling the ball to kick returner Cordarrelle Patterson.

While Fields may be fielding kick returns in Madden, don’t expect the possible Steelers quarterback of the future to be doing it when it really counts.
