Showers, some storms possible Wednesday evening

Scattered, strong storms are possible this evening, mainly north of Pittsburgh. The main concern will come from heavy rain, lightning, and gusty winds.

Storms should dissipate by shortly after sunset, with a pretty quiet overnight.

It will stay warm and muggy into Thursday morning with a few lingering showers possible, mainly south of Pittsburgh. By Thursday evening...humidity will drop sharply with many locations dipping into the 50s Friday morning!

We’ll be dry and sunny this weekend as high pressure takes over. Heat will build with highs expected to reach the low 90s again by Sunday. Humidity then returns early next week with daily chances for storms starting on Monday.
