Pittsburgh Steelers OC Arthur Smith brings back the mustache and it's glorious

During his days with the Atlanta Falcons , Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith rocked one of the better mustaches you have ever seen.

He nixed it during the 2023 campaign, but that decision didn't come without some regret, as Smith later revealed, per USA TODAY's Charles Odum .

“I kind of regret it already,” Smith said, before noting that he made the decision on a whim very early in the morning.

But that wrong has been righted. During the Steelers' first training camp practice on Thursday, Smith was on the field along with his mustache in what is a glorious return for one of the better setups on planet earth.

Elite Steelers offense and Super Bowl confirmed.

Smith went 7-10 in each of his three seasons as the head coach of the Falcons. He was let go following the 2023 campaign and was then quickly snatched up by the Steelers, who fired former offensive coordinator Matt Canada during the 2023 campaign.

While Smith did not fare well with the Falcons overall, he did have plenty of success with the Tennessee Titans as the team's offensive coordinator for two seasons.

The Titans sported one of the league's better offenses in that span that included an elite rushing attack led by Derrick Henry. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill also revived his career under Smith.

With the Steelers needing to improve their run game and hoping for a bounce-back season from quarterback Russell Wilson, Smith's track record shows he's just the man to accomplish both of those things.
