Brandon Aiyuk Next Team Odds: Commanders Surpass Steelers as Favorites to Trade for Star WR
By Kyle Odegard,

Brandon Aiyuk reported to 49ers’ training camp this week, but he isn’t practicing, continuing the contract standoff between the two parties.
If the sides can’t come to an agreement, a trade seems on the table.
And while the Pittsburgh Steelers opened as the favorite to trade for Aiyuk if he leaves San Francisco, a new leader has emerged.
The Washington Commanders have +375 odds to trade for Aiyuk, per SportsBetting.ag on July 25, leapfrogging Pittsburgh as his most likely destination.
The Commanders originally opened with the fourth-best odds at +800 on July 17, trailing the Steelers, Jaguars and Colts.
Here are the eight teams with 10/1 odds or better to trade for Aiyuk.
Brandon Aiyuk Next Team Odds If Not The 49ers
Washington Commanders +375
Pittsburgh Steelers +450
Jacksonville Jaguars +600
Indianapolis Colts +750
Las Vegas Raiders +900
Los Angeles Chargers +950
Arizona Cardinals +1000
New England Patriots +1000
The Commanders make a lot of sense, as Aiyuk is close with rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels, who he played with at Arizona State University. Washington’s salary cap situation will be helped by Daniels’ rookie contract, allowing them ample room to add Aiyuk.
Offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury needs weapons that can win their individual matchups for his scheme to work competently, and Aiyuk fits that bill.
The Steelers are still right in the mix, but have dropped slightly after opening as the favorites at +400. Pittsburgh is very in need of weapons and does not have a big quarterback contract weighing them down.
The Jaguars lost Calvin Ridley to the Titans this offseason and could be on the lookout for a star pass-catcher to aide quarterback Trevor Lawrence. The Colts could also use an infusion of talent at the position, while Aiyuk would pair with Davante Adams as a dangerous duo in Las Vegas.
The Chargers lost both Mike Williams and Keenan Allen this offseason and may have the worst wide receiver corps in the league.
The Cardinals added Marvin Harrison, Jr. in the draft but have one of the best salary cap situations in the NFL and can add an elite player if GM Monti Ossenfort believes the team is creeping back toward respectability. This would be a trade within the division, though, which may give the 49ers pause.
The Patriots have Drake Maye on a rookie deal and Aiyuk would immediately become his most dangerous weapon.
Here are the rest of the next team odds to trade for Brandon Aiyuk if he is jettisoned from the 49ers, via SportsBetting.ag.
