Brandon Aiyuk trade rumors are getting louder for Browns' AFC North rival

The Brandon Aiyuk story took an interesting turn on Monday.  The Cleveland Browns were rumored to be a frontrunner to land the superstar San Francisco 49ers wide receiver, but in an odd turn of events, there are a lot of rumors linking Aiyuk to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Nothing has been confirmed.  In addition, the San Francisco 49ers have yet to come out and say that they were granting Aiyuk his trade request. For all we know, this could be Steelers social media trying to strike up some talking points or manifest this trade into fruition.

Let's assume Aiyuk may be wearing black and gold this year.  That could pose an interesting challenge for the Browns who face the Steelers two times each season.  This move would also vault the Steelers' offense into higher prominence though it is unclear who the QB1 for the team will be, Russell Wilson or Justin Fields.

Aiyuk is 26 years old and was the No. 25 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
