Ralph Moxcey, a distinguished World War II veteran, accomplished advertising professional, and talented sculptor, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Born in 1924 in New Brunswick, Canada, Ralph was raised in Waterville. Ralph became an Eagle Scout in his youth, embodying the Scouts commitment to service and community throughout his life. He proudly trained as a B-24 gunner in the Air Force during World War II, a role that took courage and dedication.
Carousel Music Theater presents ‘Dominic’s Diner’
The Carousel Music Theater, 196 Townsend Ave., in Boothbay Harbor Maine, is currently running a wonderful new show titled “Dominic’s Diner.”. Set in the 1950s, a lovely young woman inherits the diner owned by her late uncle. ‘Twist the night away’ with Diana and her friends as they try their best to keep the diner afloat. This production was written and directed by Carousel alum, Broadway triple threat Michelle Bruckner. She pays homage to the late Dominic Garvey, who was artistic director of the Carousel when she first came to Boothbay Harbor 30 years ago.

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of David E. Storkson Sr., on July 11, 2024, at the age of 81. David was born in Jefferson, on April 23, 1943, to Lawrence A. Hubley, and Mildred H. (Cunningham) Hubley. At an early age, David was fortunate to be raised by Gussie and Peter Storkson, of Whitefield, and later adopted into the Storkson family.

Fulton Wallace Curtis, 86, passed away peacefully at the Sussman House on July 10, 2024, in Rockport. Fulton was the youngest child of nine, born in Richmond, where he spent his youthful years. Fulton graduated from Richmond High School where he was actively involved in football, basketball, and played the clarinet in the band. His band had the honor of traveling to Washington, D.C., marking a memorable high school experience.
