65-year-old slashed in Manhattan’s Theater District: NYPD

MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) — A person was stabbed in Manhattan on Sunday, according to the FDNY.

A call came in of a person stabbed around 3:30 p.m. of a person stabbed on West 45th Street between Shubert Alley and Eighth Avenue, according to officials.

The victim, a 65-year-old, was slashed in the face and taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries.

Police said a person was taken into police custody, and charges are pending.
