    Affordable housing lottery opens in Bedford-Stuyvesant

    BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, Brooklyn (PIX11) — A new affordable housing lottery has opened up for a building in Bedford-Stuyvesant designed by renowned architect Patrick Keely.

    The affordable housing lottery is for apartments at the Hartby at 788 Willoughby Avenue.

    The building has 62 available units, including studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. Some of the building’s amenities include a landscaped courtyard, gym, dog park, garages, and a rooftop terrace.

    Apartments are pet-friendly. There is also a dog washing station at the location.

    There are no deposits or application fees. Accepted applicants will also receive one month free and $1,000 towards moving.

    The property is listed on the NYC Housing Connect website, an online portal where people can find and apply for affordable housing opportunities in New York City.

    Applications will remain open until October 14. The eligible income range is $85,543 – $218,010.
