LONG BRANCH, New Jersey (PIX11) — Like a Boss! Bruce Springsteen casually strolled into his favorite hot dog spot in New Jersey over the weekend and picked up 60 franks to go.

The Garden State native popped up at Max’s Bar and Grill in Long Branch on Saturday to pick up his order to the delight of fans and workers. The eatery’s manager told the Asbury Park Press the rock legend also got some buns, relish, and sauerkraut with his order.

“The Boss himself came by Max’s today! 5 dozen dogs Togo!!!! See you soon Mr. Springsteen 🥰🌭✨❤️,” the eatery posted on Instagram.

Springsteen, 74, and the East Street Band recently returned from a European tour and have U.S. shows beginning this week in Pittsburgh.

Max’s Famous Hot Dogs has been the locals’ favorite spot on the Jersey Shore since 1928.  The band has been stopping by the iconic hot dog stand for 50 years, according to the Asbury Park Press.

“Nothing like a Jersey shore dog! So cool,” said an Instagram post about The Boss’ impromptu visit.
