    Winning lottery ticket sold in Bronx worth thousands of dollars: officials

    BORNX, N.Y. (PIX11) – A winning Powerball ticket was sold in New York City for Monday’s Powerball drawing, The New York Lottery announced Tuesday morning.

    The winning draw was sold for Monday’s Powerball draw. The ticket was sold at Lucy 7 Grocery store near Fordham Road, lottery officials said.

    The winning draw was a third-price ticket valued at  $50,000. The ticket matched four numbers as well as the Powerball number in Monday night’s televised draw.

    The winning numbers for Monday nights are 9, 22, 57, 67, and 68, and the Powerball was 14. A winner can claim the winning prize up to one year from the drawing date.
