    Electric scooter store goes up in flames in Queens, firefighter injured

    RICHMOND HILL, Queens (PIX11) – A fire broke out at a mixed-use building in Queens early Thursday morning, according to the FDNY.

    The fire broke out at 102-44 Jamaica Ave. in Richmond Hill just before 2:30 a.m. The building that caught on fire is made up of The Kings Electric Scooters and homes.

    Multiple burnt e-bikes and scooters were seen in the back, along with a charred garage. One firefighter was injured and taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, per the FDNY.

    The fire was brought under control after 3 a.m. Investigators are looking into what caused the fire, according to the FDNY.
