    Affordable housing lottery opens for ‘architectural gem’ in Astoria

    ASTORIA, Queens (PIX11) — An affordable housing lottery has opened up for an “architectural gem” in Astoria.

    The affordable housing lottery is for the brand new 21-11 31st Avenue Apartments.

    The building has 43 available one-bedroom apartments. Some of the building’s amenities include a shared laundry room, an accessible entrance, and an elevator.

    No pets are allowed except for service pets.

    Applications for the 21-11 31st Avenue Apartments will remain open until Nov. 4. The eligible income range is $72,652 – $181,740. Rent includes hot water but the tenant is responsible for electricity including stove and heat.

    The property is listed on the NYC Housing Connect website, an online portal where people can find and apply for affordable housing opportunities in New York City.

    Affordable housing lottery opens in Bedford-Stuyvesant

    Interested parties can also request an application by mail by sending a self-addressed envelope to 21-11 31St Avenue Apartments C/O Reside Affordable, 349 Keap Street, Brooklyn, NY 11211.
