ROY — After a small plane crashed in front of a Roy home on Wednesday, city leaders are concerned about why these crashes are an ongoing problem. “I think everybody involved was living right. So definitely, I don’t know how many people out there are religious, but a lot of people here were blessed,” said Roy resident Anthony Baugh.
1 hospitalized after Kaysville house catches fire
KAYSVILLE — A house adjacent to Morgan Elementary School caught fire Tuesday, sending one person to the hospital. Crews were dispatched about 12:15 p.m. to a house near 800 E. Oxford Drive in Kaysville. Layton, Farmington and Hill Air Force Base fire departments also responded, according to a Kaysville Fire Department social media post. Temperatures at the time exceeded 90 degrees, with a heat advisory from the National Weather Service in effect.
