On July 16th, Joseph Sturdivant was being treated in the back of an ambulance by EMTs for a medical issue. For some unknown reason he jumped out of the back of the vehicle and ran into some nearby woods near Fairview Point Road and has not been seen since despite on-going efforts to locate him by the Bossier Sheriff’s Office.

Community members hope that an online fundraiser will cover the expenses for repairing the damage to a local World War II veteran's home caused by one of last week's storms.
