    Suspect at-large after stabbing man at Plainfield gas station

    PLAINFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — A suspect fled the scene after stabbing a 32-year-old man in the leg at a Plainfield gas station on Thursday afternoon.

    According to a release, Plainfield Police Department responded to the report of a stabbing at Morgan Trucking shortly before 1 p.m. At the scene, police identified and emergency personnel treated the victim, who was stabbed in the leg.

    From there, the victim was transported to William Backus Hospital in Norwich to receive further treatment.

    An investigation determined that an altercation originated at the Gulf Station at 309 Putnam Road before the victim fled to Morgan Trucking to seek help for his injuries while the suspect pursued them.

    The suspect fled the scene shortly after.

    The incident is currently under investigation and is believed to be isolated.
