Aside from Lynch and Bowlan, the starting rotation has had its fair share of struggles, with no other primary starter having an ERA under 5.92 in the last 30 days. Rodolfo Durán was promoted to Omaha on Friday and notched his first Triple-A home run, a grand slam, on Saturday.
Missouri woman arrested on suspected drug distribution in Osage County
A Missouri woman was arrested on suspected drug distribution charges in Osage County on Monday. Sheriff Chris Wells says the arrest of 37-year-old Kyra Merriman of Kansas City developed after an alleged traffic infraction. An Osage County K-9 unit stopped Merriman at US Highway 75 and 189th Road, about five miles north of Lyndon, and allegedly found illegal narcotics.
