29 July 2024- A chase down I-81 and Black Gap Road ended early on Sunday morning with a man wanted for numerous crimes in Maryland behind bars in Chambersburg. Malachi Brian-Maurice Younger of Hagerstown was charged with felony fleeing an officer, felony theft, felony receiving stolen property, felony flight to avoid apprehension, felony possession with intent to deliver, misdemeanor unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, misdemeanor false ID to an officer, misdemeanor resisting arrest, misdemeanor reckless endangerment, and five traffic violations. Younger failed to post bail of $500,000.
Chambersburg man charged with breaking into home, assaulting two different girlfriends in Mont Alto and Waynesboro
29 July 2024- A Chambersburg man is facing multiple cases against him after he allegedly assaulted one person and broke into another’s home. Malcolm Neals is facing charges out of Waynesboro for felony criminal trespassing by breaking into a structure and summary criminal mischief. Neals is also facing charges out of Mont Alto of felony strangulation, two counts of misdemeanor assault, and summary harassment. Neals’ bail is a combined amount of $125,000, which he has not posted.
