Jonathan Meijer Commits To Post University
An '03 from Mölndal, Sweden, Meijer played 45 games in the 2023-24 season, recording 5 goals and 6 assists for a total of 11 points. "Jonathan was a player that did everything we asked of him," said Boston Jr. Terriers head coach Cody Gonyeau. "He came in and played a certain role that made us very competitive. I'm very proud of him for his commitment to play at Post University. He is very deserving of this opportunity, and I know he will bring a ton of value to their team!"

Housy Juniors baseball drops 9-5 to Barkhamsted
SHARON — The Housy Juniors hosted the second game of the Babe Ruth summer baseball league at Veterans’ Field in Sharon on June 27. They fought hard against Barkhamsted, but ultimately fell to their opponent, 9-5. The Housy team consists of teens from Region One towns: Sharon, Salisbury, Kent, Cornwall, North Canaan, and Falls Village. Players range in age from 13 to 15 and learn from the experienced coaching and invested teammates that summer baseball offers.

Hartford Defeated by Loudoun 3-0
Hartford was unable to stop a strong attacking performance from Loudoun United on their home field tonight, losing 3-0 at Segra Field in Virginia. There was little attacking action through the first 20 minutes of tonight’s match, with only three total shots taken and none that challenged either goalkeeper. The home side turned the pace of the match up a notch in the 25th minute, breaking through to score a goal off the foot of Wesley Leggett. Florian Valot played a cross into the box that deflected off of Thomas Vancaeyezeele and fell to Legget, who played it off his chest and struck his left-footed shot to the bottom right corner to give Loudoun the 1-0 lead.
