HARTFORD, Conn. — For the seventh time, Hartford Whalers Alumni Weekend returns to Dunkin' Park in downtown Hartford, and for fans, the weekend is a win-win. The Hartford Yard Goats continue to support the Whalers and, this year, the baseball team has brought back 19 former Whaler hockey players for events on Friday and Saturday night.

Country music fans wore cowboy hats, boots and patriotic attire to the 2024 Jam at the Dam music festival at Z-Topia in the Stevenson section of Monroe Saturday night. Crowds danced in front of the stage, while listening to popular tunes by Chase Wright, Taylor Austin Dye and Tyler Hubbard.
