Man critically injured in one-vehicle crash near Pebble Creek Ski Area

INKOM — A man was critically injured in a one-vehicle crash near Pebble Creek Ski Area on Tuesday night, authorities said.

The wreck occurred around 9 p.m. while the man was driving his car on Green Canyon Road near the ski area and reportedly lost control. The car left the roadway, traveled down a steep hillside and overturned, authorities said.

Nearby residents witnessed the crash and called 911.

Bannock County sheriff's deputies and Search and Rescue personnel as well as ambulances from Pocatello and Inkom responded.

The Bannock County Sheriff's Office reported that the man was critically injured in the crash. He was transported via Pocatello Fire Department ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello.

His name and an update on his condition are not yet available.

The crash remains under investigation by the Sheriff's Office.
