Spirit Halloween 'coming soon' to Main Street in Stroudsburg

Spirit Halloween is set to open a location on Main Street in Stroudsburg this spooky season.

The Halloween retailer lists the former Rite Aid at 228 Main St. as one of its more than 1,500 locations.

As of Monday, an opening date has not been set. Spirit Halloween’s website lists the store as "coming soon."

The seasonal store carries costumes for adults, children and pets, as well as animatronics, fog machines, lights and other decorations.

Additional Spirit Halloween locations that had opened by Monday include:

• 2178 W. Union Blvd., Bethlehem
• 1911 Whitehall Mall, Whitehall
• 3300 Lehigh St., Allentown
• 5011 Shoppes Blvd., Moosic
• 1019 Commerce Blvd., Dickson City
• 17 Hampton House Road, Newton, New Jersey

The Rite Aid closed about a year ago following news of a potential bankruptcy, which the pharmacy chain did later file for.
