Overnight fire takes heavy toll on landmark Fairhope restaurant
FAIRHOPE, Ala. (WALA) - The State Fire Marshall is looking into the cause of an overnight fire. Five different fire departments responded to a restaurant fire on Scenic 98 early Monday morning, July 15, 2024 which caused extensive damage to Supper Club at Sweetwater Branch. The fire broke out around 1:30 a.m. and despite what witnesses called a quick response, flames spread quickly.
