Mobile police, U.S. Marshals seek kidnapping suspect
The Mobile Police Department and U.S. Marshals are seeking Gary Dotson, 22, who is wanted on a charge of first-degree kidnapping on July 10. Anyone with information on Dotson’s whereabouts is asked to contact the MPD at (251) 208-7211. Anonymous tips can be submitted by texting 844-251-0644.

Fairhope City Council looking into Park Usage Ordinance amendments
FAIRHOPE, Ala. (WPMI) — Complaints over too many events at public park spaces in Fairhope have caught the attention of the City Council. The council is looking at potential amendments to the city’s park usage ordinance which regulates the reservations of the Fairhope Beach Pavilion, Henry George Park, and South Beach Park. Under the current ordinance, one event can be scheduled in each park each day.
