The game of golf is alive and well in the state of Louisiana. According to golflink.com there are 140 golf courses in Louisiana. Eighty of those courses are public courses, another 30 are private courses, and still another 30 would qualify to be called municipal golf courses. Louisiana even has its own "Golf Trail".

Authorities investigate swatting incident in Leesville
LEESVILLE, La. (KPLC) - The Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office (VPSO) and Louisiana State Police are investigating a swatting incident in Leesville. Around 10 this morning, the Leesville Police Department transferred a call to VPSO about a disturbance, according to deputies. The caller blocked their phone number before calling Leesville police.
