    Part of Coconut Creek Parkway Shut Down on Tuesday Following Tractor-Trailer Crash in Pompano Beach

    COCONUT CREEK, FL – Eastbound Coconut Creek Parkway was closed near the entrance to Broward College – North Campus for part of Tuesday as crews cleaned up debris from a tractor-trailer crash in nearby Pompano Beach.

    The crash between the 18-wheeler and another vehicle happened around 11:45 p.m. on Monday near the 1400 block of NW 31 Avenue in Pompano Beach.

    The Broward County Sheriff’s office said the driver of the tractor-trailer had to be extricated and was taken to the hospital.

    The driver of the second vehicle was also taken to the hospital.

    Both drivers had non-life threatening injuries.

    Coconut Creek police were called to the scene to assist and shut down eastbound Coconut Creek Parkway to help with the clean-up.

    The road reopened on Tuesday afternoon.
