PONTIAC (WWJ) -- A man has been found dead in an Oakland County lake.

Members of the Oakland County Sheriff's Department and other first responders were on the scene Tuesday, at Baldwin Rd. and Montcalm in Pontiac.

According to Steve Huber, Public Information Officer sheriff's office, deputies responded to the area around 12:30 p.m., and recovered the body later in the afternoon.

Huber told WWJ Newsradio 950's Luke Sloan that the victim is a 38-year-old man.

His name and hometown are not being released at this time, as Huber said the man's family has not yet been notified.

At this time, it's still unclear if this could be an accidental drowning, or if foul play was involved.

An autopsy by the Oakland County Medical Examiner is scheduled for Wednesday, to determine a cause of death.

No other information is being released, as the investigation continues.
