Delivery drivers will be able to apply for a service permit, which will allow for the delivery of alcoholic beverages from an authorized business. 2024’s Largest High School in Maryland
Before it became the largest high school in Maryland in terms of square footage, Seneca Valley High School (19401 Crystal Rock Dr. Germantown, MD) opened in its original building in 1974. The school sits on land that was once the site of a dairy farm owned by baseball player Walter Johnson. Johnson purchased the land in 1935 and lived there with his family until his death in 1946. It was Germantown’s only high school until Northwest opened in 1998. Seneca Valley ranks 21st in the list of the largest high schools by enrollment in 2024.
