Man dies after getting crushed at Rockford auto repair center
ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) - A man is dead after he was pinned between a vehicle lift and a car he was working on, according to the Winnebago County Coroner’s Office. Around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Kurt’s Service Center, 1510 Cunningham St., Dennis Modloff, 55, was working alone under a Jeep. The vehicle was parked on top of a hydraulic vehicle lift with an under-hoist jack stand to hold up the rear axle.
