Ravalli Watercraft Inspection Station Operates to Protect Waters from Invasive Species
RAVALLI — From May 18 through September 18th, the watercraft inspection station at Ravalli is operating 24 hours a day to carefully inspect boats, trailers, and other watercraft for Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS). So far this year, Montana boat check stations intercepted 22 mussel-fouled boats going to various places. Stations are operating with a clear goal to protect the water and praise the effort of teamwork across the state.

Feel That? Earthquake Rattles Parts Of Western Montana
Fireworks weren't the only thing shaking windows in western Montana as the Treasure State celebrated the 4th of July Holiday. Reports from the USGS (United States Geological Survey), say a 3.9 magnitude earthquake occurred near Seely Lake at 4:46 early Friday morning. The earthquake was located 23 miles east, northeast of Seely Lake, and 48 miles from Missoula.
