City makes cuts to CCPD & CCFD cadet funding due to budget shortfalls

When the city council voted to double the homestead exemption tax breaks and do away with the street user fee they lost $25 million in tax revenue. Portions of Blanche Moore Drive Temporarily Closed to Through Traffic
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX—Beginning Saturday, June 29, Corpus Christi Water (CCW) will conduct utility repairs requiring Blanche Moore Drive's closure between the eastbound SPID frontage road and Williams Drive. The road is closed to through traffic, but local access will be permitted. Driveway access to Blanche Moore is also restricted. There will be no interruption of CCW services during the repairs. The work is expected to last until the middle of next week.
