BEL AIR — A Harford County grand jury has handed up an indictment against a suspended Harford County Sheriff’s Office correctional officer who is accused of stealing money from a woman by forging one of her checks, police reported. Suspect Arrested In Elkton Home Invasion/Sexual Assault
Elkton, MD – On July 14th, around 5 a.m., Elkton Police officers were dispatched to a residence on Danford Drive in response to a reported burglary and sexual assault. According to authorities, the suspect, Obet Perez-Roblero, 36, entered the home and attacked a female resident who was asleep on the couch. Perez-Roblero allegedly physically and sexually assaulted the woman until another resident intervened, causing him to flee. Officers from Patrol Group C responded swiftly and found Perez-Roblero hiding in an upstairs bedroom of a neighboring house.
