Chester County Teen Awarded Scholarship for Mental Health Advocacy
WEST CHESTER, PA — Sophia Fontecchio, a high school senior from Downingtown, Pennsylvania, has been honored with the third annual Youth Scholarship by the Chester County Suicide Prevention Task Force. This $1,000 scholarship is granted to high school seniors in Chester County who have made significant contributions to raising awareness about mental health and suicide prevention in their schools and communities.

CHESTER — A Chester man has been arrested in connection with the murder of his father. The Queen Anne's County Office of the Sheriff's Criminal Investigation Unit arrested Drew Bernard Meyer, 32, of Chester, charging him with first degree murder in the death of his father, Wayne Michael Meyer, 65, also of Chester.
